How to check Taobao seller ratings and buyer photos before you buy
Seller ratings are your best defense against bad purchases.
What to look at
- Overall score: 4.8+ is the safe zone
- Review count relative to store age
- Buyer photos with the actual product, not box shots
- Ask your agent to screenshot recent reviews if translation is garbled
